"Trance Utopia Sessions, Vol. 2” represents our passion for euphoric, uplifting, and driving, progressive trance — styles of electronic music that have been major creative influences on us as artists.
With this album, we wanted to create something focused, energetic, melodic, heart-opening, and rhythmically driven, while keeping the production & groove at the heart of the album. We were seeking to build off the first volume of "Trance Utopia Sessions, Vol. 1" which we conceived on the basis of our success with our songs like Jim Carson "Love Angel" (Trance Edit) and Dean P "Let Go" (Original Mix). This one was especially special for Carson with new songs like "Vegas Red Bull" taking it back to the old school, hard dance & rebirthing anew with songs like "Rave Again," and experimenting with psy-trance and electronic, arp-driven 'trance inspired' by VPS Avenger and Sylenth 1 for that old school Moog bass sound heard on "Heaven Knows."
Dean P's "Out of the Ashes," is breath-takingly euphoric & beautiful as is "Feels Like Home" when coming out the one hour DJ mix alongside "Desert Rave Torque" which takes the listener from funky psy-trance at 138 BPM to a grounding C major chord vibe in "Feels Like Home" with female vocals that are both soothing and comforting with bliss and joy.
